Paper bowls are bowl-shaped paper containers made from raw paper made of virgin wood pulp or chemical wood pulp through laminating, die-cutting and other processes. Compared with plastic tableware, Haoqian paper bowls have an 80% shorter degradation cycle (about 3-6 months); its core material consists of a double-layer composite structure:
Virgin wood pulp paper layer: as the main support layer, usually 150-350g/m² food-grade paper is used;
Polyethylene (PE) laminating layer: 0.02-0.07mm food-grade PE film is coated on the surface of the paper layer to give it waterproof, oil-resistant and high temperature resistant (80-120℃) properties.
Production process
Laminating
PE film is coated on the surface of the base paper to form a waterproof layer (single/double-sided laminating).
Printing and molding
Environmentally friendly ink is used for pattern printing, and fan-shaped paper pieces are cut by a die-cutting machine.
Hot pressing and shaping
The high-temperature (180-220℃) mold is hot-pressed and bonded in the molding machine to form a bowl-shaped structure.
Quality inspection
Automatic detection of leakage and spots, and ultraviolet sterilization before packaging.

Safe use recommendations
Temperature control: PE coated bowls are recommended to hold liquids with a temperature of ≤90°C. Continuous high temperature may release low molecular weight compounds
Material identification: Qualified products should have a QS mark, and inferior products often contain calcium carbonate filling (which produces bubbles when exposed to acetic acid)
Use restrictions: Paper bowls with paraffin coating are not suitable for holding oily foods (easy to dissolve)
